A person who woke up in a locked observation room.

No name, no past, no reason for being here.

The patients call you doctor.

But Kiritani, the head nurse, does not treat you as one. What she uses is not a name. It is a number.

Are you a doctor who worked in this hospital?

Or a patient who believes he is one?

Two women seem to hold the answer. Mina, the girl in room 709, and Kiritani, the head nurse. Their accounts do not agree.

STORY

Whose account do you believe?

The top floor of a psychiatric ward. You wake in a locked observation room.

Your memory is gone. You cannot even recall your own name.

The patients look at your face and call you doctor.

Only Kiritani, the head nurse who runs the ward, refuses to treat you as one. What she says instead is a number — the kind given to a patient.

But why does she know about the past of 713? Why does she never try to leave? And is she really a patient admitted to room 709 at all?

What Mina is leading you towards — is it the exit, or the part of your memory you buried?

The patients may call you doctor; she keeps using the number. A level voice. Exact procedure. Ward rules that do not bend.

It can look as though she is keeping 713 confined. But if 713 really is a patient who needs treatment, then everything she does is correct.

Is the medication meant to erase a memory, or to bring 713 back to reality? And what is she protecting — the hospital, the patients, or 713?

A white coat and a patient gown are waiting for you. Which one you put on changes who you meet, where you can go, what you are told, and how the story reads.

You are walking the same ward either way — but the truth spoken inside it depends on which side you chose.

Read the truth out of conversations and records

The horror in front of you is not the only clue. What the patients say. The instructions the nurse gives. Notes left in the rooms. Old files. A small contradiction in passing conversation.

Every one of them connects back to the past of the protagonist. Whose word you trust, and what you doubt, is what decides the story.

Five endings

Getting out is not necessarily the right answer. Staying is not necessarily salvation.

Your choices and actions split the story into five different endings. The morning you reach — is it really the real one?
